BEAUTIFUL GARDEN WEDDING IN SUMTER, SC

Garden weddings are some of my favorite weddings because of their charm, character, and perfect sunsets that provide the chef’s kiss to any wedding day. Mary and Brad’s wedding encompassed that and so much more with their beautiful and intimate garden wedding at the Sumter County Museum in Sumter, SC.

MARY AND BRAD’S BEAUTIFUL GARDEN WEDDING IN SUMTER, SC

This gorgeous wedding was the final wedding to the AEP’s team 2024 spring wedding season, and it did not disappoint. After three back to back amazing wedding weekends, you would think that we would be drained and ready to hang up the gear. However, Mary and Brad’s family and friends’s joy and happiness were so contagious that it pulled us all the way through to their stunning sparkler exit!

The morning started off at the maid of honor’s charming home. Ehrin, the MOH, hosted all six of the stunning bridesmaids as well as the mother of the bride and the mother of the groom. You could feel the excitement as they got their hair and makeup done and were anticipating seeing Mary in her gown for the first time. After a champagne toast to commemorate the big day, Mary slipped into her gorgeous Essence of Australia bridal gown, which fit her like a glove! One of our favorite moments of the entire day was Mary’s first look with all of her girls!

THE SUMTER MUSEUM GARDEN’S PROVIDED THE MOST BEAUTIFUL BACKDROP FOR THE WEDDING CEREMONY.

After group photos with our bride and her entourage, we drove the short drive to the Sumter County Museum to meet up with Brad and his guys for the groom and groomsmen photos. Brad’s Sage Green Suite was a showstopper and tied the garden theme wedding together perfectly. The ceremony space was absolutely stunning. The florals for the wedding ceremony, as well as the entire wedding, were filled with delicate pastel florals for a timeless look that matched perfectly with the intimate ceremony space.

Mary and Brad followed their ceremony with a party on the north lawn of the museum, complete with music and delicious food for their guests to enjoy. The beautiful setting and attention to detail made their wedding day truly unforgettable.

When Kelsea + Collin asked me to travel to The Holy City for their engagement shoot in February, I started to list all of my favorite landmarks starting with the historical Hibernian Hall. The beautiful checkered floors and tall columns provided the light and airy look for this beautiful session.

One of the most popular stops for an engagement session in Charleston is the American Theater on King Street. Did you know that you could call in advance and reserve the marquee sign? Such an incredible staple piece for any engagement shoot. Fun fact, this is the same theater where the movie "The Notebook" was filmed.

Every quintessential Charleston session has to have the historical homes as its backdrop. As we walked the French Quarter, we couldn't help but stop on every corner for a photo otp. That is truly what makes Charleston so special. The possibilities are endless and beautiful!  I feel so blessed to be a part of Kelsea + Collin's wedding season! Having the amazing opportunity to photograph them during such a special time brings me so much joy! Congratulation a gain you two!

I cannot wait to show you more of this beautiful couple as their February 24' wedding is drawing near!
